Using the Droid X internal storage

Has anyone made any progress on using the internal storage for anything other than apps? I'd love to throw some music in there.

Not that I know of. I get the feeling this won't ever happen since you most likely need bootloader access to change the kernal around and allow you to use that storage. Don't count on it happening before you get a new phone

That sucks. Just one of those corporate decisions I'll never understand.

If anyone needs me, I'll be downloading every app in the market in an attempt to make use of my worthless 8 GB of storage...
