So I rooted the long way originally, and have used easy root after that. I can't seem to get the phone to unroot. I have used easy root to unroot it, which it says it does. The Superuser app is gone in my add drawer, but I can still open a terminal emulator and click su, the cursor changes to a # still. Tried to do the method stickied up in this forum with terminal emulator, same thing, go through the process, no sign of root except that I can still click su and the cursor changes to a #.

Anyways, just trying to unroot because I cant get froyo to load. Keeps failing. No idea what's up.

Ummm, not sure I went into astro and found some things in some directories that i deleted, all said superuser or su. I backed up and had the SBF ready.

Either way, still couldn't update unrooted. Had to SBF, then it worked fine. Froyo is running PERFECT for me, very fast. Only bug I've noticed is the test message thing everyone else is complaining about

Can't you just use root explorer to delete su from bin or xbin?...

How would that work?...you need su to run root explorer...so when you ( if you can) delete su from .bin would the app fc right away?
