Did not unroot before upgrade

I need alittle help here. I DID NOT unroot using easy root before the upgrade. I do not have root but on some applications it says my phone is rooted. What do I do?

I did un-root prior to the upgrade, and even then some applications I had installed that required root would run - but would not work. Some said I was rooted - but I knew I was not.

Two choices:

1) Uninstall the applications that require root.
2) Root your phone using the Droid 2 method.

The Droid 2 method is very simple and requires no real knowledge to run. What is important is that it does not always work the first time. Run it a few times until it takes.

I had the exact same issue and I used the "one click rooting method" that is stickied in the hacks/rom's forum.

It failed at first but asked if I wanted to try again and it worked the second time. It was a whole lot easier than I thought it was gonna be.

anyone got a video on the rooting process it just confuses me
