Yesterday I was going to restore a nandroid backup that I made a few days ago of the original 2.2 leak. Using Koush's Bootstrap Recovery, I hit Bootstrap Rcovery, got a success message, then hit Reboot Recovery, rebooted into recovery, navigated to my nandroid backup, selected Yes (to restore) and just got an error, that said something about Md5 being invalid. This is the first time I've tried to restore a nandroid backup...does that happen often?
I did do one thing, but I don't think it should have an effect. When a backup is made, the diretory that is created is basically the name of the date/time. So after making this particular backup, I had gone into a file explorer, created a new directory called "2-2-Leak", then copied the date/time named backup directory into my new one. Is there any reason that would cause Bootstrap Recovery a problem?
