Cannot re-install FM radio bloatware-Help?

Trying to reinstall bloatware to get 2.3.340 update. Followed instructions here : http://forum.androidcentral.com/mot...-bloatware-system-application-properties.html

Worked fine for everything but the FM radio app. Anyone got any ideas?

Use the update zip file I linked to in your other thread. It will upgrade your X to 2.3.340

What's intimidating about booting into Recovery and installing an update.zip file? IMO, no more than going into your device's System folder and making changes that could also potentially brick your device.

I D/L the Bootstrap recovery prog from Koushs site. What folder do I move it too on my phone?

You can put it anywhere, you just need to find it with Astro or Root Explorer to install it. You need to enable Installing non Market Apps in Menu, Settings, Applications. You also need to turn on USB Debugging in Menu, Settings, Applications, Development before trying to install Bootstrapper.

You can just use stock recovery to install the zip file if you rename it to update.zip

tSince there is no apk file in it, what file do you install?

There was another thread somewhere else today saying the same thing. You can get it in the Market for $2 as well. Probably easier.
