i rooted my droid x last night and installed liberty 1.0. prior to root i backed up my contacts which i cant restore because liberty doesnt run blur, is their a way to get my contacts restored if i dont get them back its a hassle to get everything back to normal because i would need to add all my contacts and learn how to sync facebook pics with liberty because im used to blur.

Were they not backed up with your Google account?

Just go into Contacts>Settings> Add account... and add your Gmail and Facebook accounts.

Many components of blur you may think are part of stock android but they aren't.
All the social networking integration in blur works completely different in AOSP roms like liberty.
DLNA, HDMI few other things are not supported.
The camera application is actually REALLY good in blur and I prefer it. I hate the AOSP one.

when you start to use custom roms be aware that you may need to jump through some hoops to get certain functionality back.
