I checked out ims. Looks cool but I thought you selected items in your phone screen and it showed up on tv. I was using it on my google tv revue. I could pull items off my phone using the revue keyboard but wanted to select with my phone. Maybe ill try on my tv media or ps3.

Thanks, I tried them both and they work well, but not like DLNA. 2player is excellent for music,I can find all my media devices but it only does music. IMS handles pics, vids, and music but I can't see my devices from the phone. Two good apps but still not what i'm looking for, any otheer suggestions???

Find a rom like apex that has dlna and dl the rom. Use something like 7zip and go into system app and pull it out. Drop on sd card and use astro to install.

twonky is what I use
it's free and handles both the source and the reader
so it'll allow other DLNA players to see your phone as the source but it will also play media from other DLNA sources....
