music search path seems to be broken

I'm running the .595 GB leak.
and I have 3 music apps running
stock, the connected stock that was leaked and winamp.
none of them can seem to find my mp3's
where as they all 3 used to be able to just fine.
when i use a file browser and browse to the files they will play in all 3 apps

but when i go to any of the 3 apps, i see "sd card" and "ui"
so it seems my music search path is
/mnt/sdcard/
& whatever/UI (system sounds?)

Idk how it got screwed up, but does anyone know a way to fix it?
there are no settings in any of the 3 apps that i could see.to set a search path
which for the record is /mnt/sdcard/Albums

update:
I fixed it (sort of)
I cleared data cache & cleared SD card cache.
I then ran "fix permissions" & rebooted.
now I can see my files in /sdcard/Albums
But i still have an "unkown artist" and when i click on that
i get /sdcard & /UI
with system sound files..
i would prefer NOT to have that stuff in my list.
