Music transfer problem

I have read multiple threads to figure out my issue,but still need help!

I have transferred my albums from my PC media library, it states they are already on my device, and they are, but they are in the music folder in the Astro app. I cannot figure out how to open and play on the music app (the one that is headphones).

I am a new user to the xoom and am would really appreciate some specific directions on how to make this happen. Thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to walk me through this process.

It could be that your sdcard/internal storage needs to be refreshed so the Music app can find it after you copied it over.

I'd try a reboot to see if that clears it up for you.

I did do this, cleared the folder,cache and cookies just for good measure, with no luck. It seems that the CD files or direct loads did not transfer but the MP3 files did.... Any other suggestions?
