Can the Xoom play HTML5 videos?

Until Flash is available on the Xoom, is there a way to get the HTML 5 versions of the videos to play? Do I just need to download a different browser?

I think it works. When I select a youtube video, I can play it with the browser or youtube app. Not the flash version. Hope that helps.

That's odd. I played a cnn video on an iPad, and then tried to play the exact same one on the Xoom and it just showed the "install flashplayer" icon. I assume the iPad defaulted to HTML5. Did you change a setting?

I play CNN videos all the time on my Xoom. I do have dophin browser installed not sure if the makes a difference though.

Are you on wifi or 3G? I don't know if that makes a difference, but I tried this while both were on a 3G network.

I'm having trouble locating a site that actually uses html5 video. Funny, for all the hype it gets...

And I also get that install flash logo on CNN

I am using the stock browser
