I just rooted my xoom with the new root tool from XDA that also overclocks it to 1.54, my question is, I am using CPU master to manage it, I have the min and max both set to "max 1504 mhz" and scaling set to "performance"

is it ok to set min and max to the max or should min be set lower?

Scale the min lower or u will have bad battle life. Also it will only need to scale to Max when u need the power, so no point having it at Max when the extra power isn't used.

why would you scale your xoom @ 1.54 when the screen is turned off. Set your profile accordingly for best batt life. SetCPU is great with profile.

Yes set min to the min. Then set up two profiles. I do screen off kept to min and also at 30% or less drop the max down a bit.
