    Today I noticed I had some app updates so I went to the market to updates them and when I clicked updated they would download and fail on the install. So I restarted my xoom, tried it again and the same thing happened. So I tried downloading an app and the same thing happens. I went to my settings and forced closed the market and cleared cache and data and tried it again with same prolem. What can I do to download apps and update my apps

    Try accessing the android market from your browser. It's a bit more stable. But it really sounds like you should do a hard reset. The market app has been a bit buggy.... Hard reset helped me... Might be your best bet before you get things all setup the way you like.

    How much memory have you used? If you get down to the last couple of GB, you won't have room for the updates. There is no warning or error message. Your apps will simply not update. It will look like you've downloaded the file, but failed to update.

    Try deleting a movie or two.
