I just purchased a myTouch Slide and was wondering which video files work and which are the best for watching longer videos like movies. Also I need some pointers for storing the videos on either the phone or the SD card and which way is the easiest. I'd love to be able to put some movies on my phone and watch them during my cancer treatments or during breaks at work! Im kinda new to the Android Platform so be easy on me guys! Ha...

I'm new to android too. I just use mp4 video files. For file management I use Astro File Manager app from the Marketplace. I created a folder called Videos on the SD card and put the videos in it. You can play the videos from the preloaded Gallery app or just click them in Astro File Manager and it starts playing. Hope this helps

I actually use an app called Cinema to play my movies. There are no onscreen button to get in the way while watching. All you do is just tap the screen to pause/play and slide your finger left or right to fast forward or rewind. I love it!

I keep all my movies and music on my SD card
