Text messages mis-threading

I'm having an issue with my text messages - I've done a factory reset because I have been having other issues with my phone (the orientation won't change and the keyboard doesn't always light up) and Tmobile is sending me a replacement but in the meantime, since the reset, if I get a text it applies it in another person's text thread and if I respond to it, it goes to someone else.

Does anyone know how to remedy this? I hate calling Tmobile, it's such a pain in the *** with the voice prompts and the sugary sweet reflective listening bull**** customer care.

I agree with you completely, i hate t-mobiles customer care...now with your issue, im not the threading type of person so lets see what i can manage.
Since you have done a factory reset, maybe its not the phone. Do you have the texting app such as Handscent or any others. If so try managing setting in there, most have setting for threads you can try. goodluck getting your new phone
