Thanks to this great community a knuckle dragger like myself was able to root my droid charge! I am really happy to have control of my phone and get rid of all the bloatware crap that is pre-installed. I would like to get rid on this crappy touch wiz OS that Samsung put on the phone.

Any suggestions? I want something stable, fast, and easy on the battery. I liked the simple interface that I had on my original droid.

I would put this in the charge section. But you are going to be looking for a asop rom. That will give u what the Droid had

Hi and welcome aboard. The Droid Charge forum will have all tbe info you need about custom ROMs, and in the meantime you could always use an alternative launcher like Launcher Pro or ADW.
