atrix 4g installing tenfars cwm recovery

I recenty bricked my atrix 4g and after days of trying to fix it and all the frustration i dont remember really the true way i managed to brick it but anyways i have a new one now i am rooted and have already sideloaded tenfars cwm recovery and installed it the app is literally on my home screen. So im at the part where you open the app and it says

:install recovery
:recovery mode
:charge mode

about:
1.make sure your phone is rooted
2.click install recovery button
3.connect your phone to a/c charger
4.click recovery mode button

Will this brick my phone? im honestly soo nervous, all i want to use this for is customer cwm boot animations, i think i bricked the atrix after installing gingerblur custom rom. Someone please give me a tad bit of not so noob but..noob advice please!!!

i recently bought atrix from US for my friend , but it got bricked when received the seller told it is unlocked boot loader but i found it as bricked
while starting it says 0x1000 failed to svf 105:102: etc and entering nv flash mode likewise and it shuts down.

Please help me it is too costly phone and i need it fixed for my friend!
