I am the owner of a samsung captivate glide and I recently updated to ICS I really dislike the update and would just like to receive help and tips on how I can either remove ICS and go back to GB or at least improve ICS to make it more like GB again. Thank you.

    Problems:
    1. Keyboard does not light up.
    2. Cannot add pictures to my contacts
    3. Youtube videos won't go into landscape mode unless I have rotation on (which I really don't want.)
    4. When I try to exit apps from the task manager there's a constant message pop-up (it gets annoying.)
    5. I rather have the old lock screen the new one just looks hideos to me.
    6. and I want my conversation list back to black instead of the white it now is. there is no way I can figure out how to change the settings for this.

    Welcome to Android Central.

    Your options are simple..

    1. You can restore back to Gingerbread.

    2. Be adventurous and root and flash a custom ROM that may have some fixes in place once the devs get working on the update.

Your answers can be found in the Samsung Captivate forums.

Good luck and enjoy the forums.
