Does anyone know of a battery case for the nexus 5x? I use my phone a lot and the battery is just not lasting long enough. I can't find a battery case anywhere! Honestly at this point I'm considering just gluing a slim power bank to the back of my phone.

Sadly, I haven't seen one yet .

I would have to say that it's more that Nexus phones have never been popular with battery case makers. Given the standard complaints about battery life, I would think they'd be popular with Nexus owners. But that's a fairly small group as far as the case makers are concerned.

I bought a new case from carphonewarehouse today and it's wallet style ... But whenever I put the phone on the wallet the magnet doesn't allow me to keep the screen on, it automatically turns the screen off.

I had a Spiegen Ultra Hybrid and then a Slim Armor for my 5. For the 5x they don't seem to have very protective ones yet like the slim armor. So I purchased a Ghostek Cloak slim hybrid case for my 5x.

Google has the Folio Nexus 5x case for $34.99 I ordered one on ebay for $12.88 for my phone and got it today, I just ordered another one for $12.88 for my gf's Nexus 5x I had just ordered. If I had got it from google I would have paid $69.98 for Both I paid $25.76 for both.....Total savings $44.22

I've been telling folks not to buy at your local stores if you don't need whatever it is you want to purchase QUICK go online order it from China what you were going to buy at your local store was made in China 9 out of 10 times anyway Just cut out the middle man and save.

Just received the Rhino Shield Crash Guard. First impression is positive. The bumper is a little slick, not as grippy as I expected.

I would add the PLESON case + tempered glass screen protector to this list. By far, the best case I've used for a phone. Ultra clear, lightweight, has grip, bumper is pretty thin, and it's cost effective. It literally makes the Nexus device stand out in public. IMO #1!!

Anyone know of a plain (no designs) TPU case for the Nexus 5x that does NOT have button covers for power and volume?

No visible branding would be great, but the uncovered buttons is required.

Cruzerlite has the bugdroid ones ( Amazon.com: Nexus 5X Case, Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit Case Compatible for LG Nexus 5X - Smoke: Cell Phones & Accessories ) but that pattern is horrible...

Having both the Supcase Unicorn Beetle and the Folio Flannel case. I myself prefer the Folio case over the Supcase because of the protection it provides for the fingerprint sensor as seen in pictures below.
