I just watched MKBHD set up his OP2 on Periscope, SD 810 and all, including a Geekbench score and fingerprint set up. To quote him, the phone is "stupid fast", like when you first get a Nexus. Launching the camera side by side with the S6 Edge, the OP2 launched at the same time. This has me chomping at the bit for these upcoming Nexus phones.

Snapdragon 820 Leak Details Quad-Core Hydra CPU And Adreno 530 GPU

It doesn't seem like the 820 will be ready in time. Shame :/

    Snapdragon 620 confirmed then?

    http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/...-chip-matters/

"As for the Adreno 510 that will ship with the Snapdragon 618 and 620, the company isn’t giving detailed or specific performance claims. It told us that these chips should generally also be 40 percent faster and 40 percent more power efficient than their predecessors, the Adreno 405 used in the Snapdragon 610 and 615."

So 40% more powerful than Adreno 405 is roughly in the ballpark of the higher-clocked variety of the Adreno 330 included within the Snapdragon 801.

I hope so. That would make the new Nexus 5 the first phone with that chip.

Will the 620 chip be worth it and last a good few years or is it just worth waiting on an 820 chip phone?!

I can't imagine Google opting for an insufficient processor. I think in real world use its hardly noticeable, and it certainly won't stop me from buying one this year. and I plan on getting 36 months minimum out of it, barring some unforeseen must have new tech feature.

Definitely the Nexus over the Moto. I just love the Nexus line. Now which to get this year? That's my confusion lol. I have the Nexus 5 and love it so my mind is going more towards the LG. But bigger screen and battery on the other one which sounds great but I just don't know about this brand huawei.

You just also have to remember that the bigger screen pretty much negates the bigger battery
