Fingerprint scanner gets warm

Anyone else notice this? When I use the phone for any length of time (even just a few minutes), the fingerprint scanner gets quite warm to the touch. I just want to make sure I didn't get a lemon.

It's not unusual. Mine does.
I know it's not the same hardware but I've heard of iPhone 6/6s users complain that theirs get hot.

I've had the iPhone 5s, 6, and 6s and have never experienced touch ID getting warm.
