Find my phone?

I recently switched from a Moto X 2013 to the 5X. I'm loving it but one feature I'm missing is ok Google now find my phone which would make it ring and turn the screen on. I used it more than I care to admit. I've tried it on the 5X and just get search results. I always thought it was an android feature was it Motorola? Any recommendations for a replacement? Thanks

That was part of Motorola's Touchless control feature. It was nice to have. If you have access to a computer or another Android device with your account signed in, you can use the Android Device Manager to accomplish the same thing, and see where the phone is on a map.

You might be able to activate the Okay Google now when the screen is off and then use a Tasker plugin with Autovoice to accomplish the same thing. I'm not sure of the command that it would require or if it would drain the battery, but something to look into.
