I've set the sound keys a dozen times and for what reason they don't hold the position I placed them I don't know.

I thought setting them locks them

It also happens when I turn the phone off

Any answers

Thanks

Which sound settings do you mean? In your keyboard or the ones under settings - sound & notifications - other sounds? Do you have any third party app that could be causing a conflict with the stock settings?

Good question. Perhaps OP should test in safe mode?

I have no third party

On the phone under sound & notifications I move that little balls to the right

I just did it again after an incoming was barely audible

Do you use a case? Is it possible that the volume down key could be pressed by accident while in your pockets? Does the same happen if you leave the phone unattended on a flat surface?
