Nexus 5x will not update to 7.1.2

[AC Question]

I just got the notification to download the 7.1.2 update OTA. The update downloads fine then when it starts to update the phone reboots goes to the updater and starts to update but halfway through it goes to a black screen the pops up the little green android and a red triangle with a message bellow stating ERROR.. Nothing more.. I have to hold the power button down for a good 20 seconds for it to reboot then it brings back the message of I have a new update to download....
