    Hello everyone!

    This is bit weird, but Chrome seems to be taking 8.9 gb of ram on Nexus 5X running stock 7.1.2. I've wiped cache partition and even restarted phone couple of times, but it's always this high (6-8 gb). I don't even have that much storage!

    Welcome to the forums. This is probably a reporting error on the Chrome app. I wouldn't be too concerned over it.

    It is kind of funny though. Maybe Chrome downloaded some more RAM?

    The Nexus 5X has 2 GB of RAM.

    Where are you seeing this shown? Chrome is using 217mb of storage on mine.
