Anyone noticing absurdly slow Qi charging? I put my 6 (in the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case) on my DT910 charger last night at 55% and it made the charging noise, said "charging" and worked fine....however....I woke up 8 hours later and it only went from 55% to 89%. Never had that problem with my Nexus 5. Guess I'll have to do some testing tonight to see if it's the case on the phone causing the issue, the charger not putting out enough power for the phone or the phone itself. I also have a DT900 and Nexus 4 orb I can test. All the chargers work and show the phone as charging when I tested them, I never thought to look at the charge speed since I figured that was a fairly standard thing with Qi chargers knowing they're all slower than wired, but shouldn't be this slow.
It's pretty slow and even more after you use quick charging on the note 4, nexus 6 or droid turbo. It's like how 5 inch phones are small after going 5.7 or whatever

I think the slow charge comments are due to not getting the charge coils lined up correctly. I first tried my 6 in landscape and it barely kept ahead of battery use. I then tried it in portrait and it charged very quickly. I have not run discharge to charge tests yet but the combination I have is working great. No case yet., running naked until something worthwhile ships.

That was exactly what went on. Instead of using my DT910 last night I used my DT900 I have mounted to an amazon basics universal tablet stand to act as a vertical charger/stand and it charged from 50% to full in just shy of 3 hours. So it was an alignment issue with the 6 using a Spigen case and the DT910. I had this issue with cases on my Nexus 5 lifting it out of alignment when using the DT910 but figured since it turned on and said charging it wasn't an issue with the 6, guess I was wrong.

The charging sweet spot seems to be more towards the bottom half of the phone! In landscape I have to have mine a little off center on my TYLT VU charger and then it charges fine! It's pretty quick.. Not plugged into the wall socket quick but it charges wireless as quick as my nexus 5 did...

Has someone tried standing Nexus 6 on the Moto 360 wireless charging dock and see if it'll charge or not?

lol I tried every way possible with the 360 dock but no luck. Then again I had problems with a normal charging pad.

I have tried it on the LG WCP-700, and it works great, even with a slim case.

I got the Aukey Luna wireless charger for 50 bucks on Amazon. Works great with the N6 upright and it adjusts from a ~75 degree angle down. It's very aesthetically pleasing and fits the N6 comfortably, even when it's upright (I think this is a big thing to consider when buying a wireless charger for the N6...cause many upright wireless chargers might not be able to fit the N6).

Although I will say that the charger itself feels fragile...I might not recommend it if you plan to move the wireless charger around a lot.

I have to say, though: I've been unable to put my N6 down since I got it and thus have not used wireless charging that often since it is slow...I've stuck to the turbo charger instead. But I feel like the wireless charger will ultimately be my go-to at night when I won't need immediate access to it.

I've got a spigen hybrid on my N6 and it won't even charge using the genuine nexus charger for me. I have to take off the case if I want it to charge, or use my Zens wireless charger which works through even thicker cases than the spigen hybrid.

I had this one for whats going on 3 years now. I can't even remember what compelled me to buy it. I think it was that I refused to pay the high price of the LG one at the time.

For the Nexus 4, I had to find the exact right spot to get it to work, the Nexus 5 and now Nexus 6(with Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case) there is no hassle. You can just lay it down some where close to the middle. Even my Moto 360 watch works well(charges fast) on it.

I only use this on my desk at work so not sure about heavy daily usages. My nexus 5, sometimes seem to go into a state of "Overdrive" where it would get hot and drain the battery real fast until dead. When this happened I took it off the charger but cant see it was because of the charger though. My Nexus 6 will get less use of this because of the better battery life in general.

My Brother and i have both had very good luck with the PowerBot puck. I have a Turbo and he has an N6. But we were both having alignment problems. Works great when it aligned but doesn't take much to bump it off. Also the N6 wants to tip off. So i designed these 3D printed cradles to take a PowerBot puck and then let you just drop the phone in to align it.

I've been trying to use the wireless charger purchased from google for the nexus 4 to wireless charge my nexus 6. no luck.
The reason it doesn't work is due to the magnets in the charger.

I like Qi charging also. I have the nexus Qi charger and it works well without much ligning up once you know the spot, which it not hard to find. The TYLT is even easier.
I hope there is nothing wrong with the phone itself, has me worried.i have a better charging pad coming.i will try the one at my house too,but it's the same pad. My Moto 360 charges fine on them.

Well, I am gonna call it. My phones wireless charging does not work. I got one of these in...

    https://www.amazon.com/Turbot-Wireless-Charging-QI-Enabled-Devices-Black/dp/B01EMWJ6Z6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475346273&sr=8-1&keywords=turbot+wireless

which in the reviews there are many with Nexus 6 saying this works perfectly. Since this is one of the main reasons I purchased the phone its going back to Amazon. I really loved the phone, sadness. I guess I will have to try and snag another, but the remaining ones look like they are mostly sold and shipped by 3rd party sellers. Hmmm, wish there was another comparable phone with a 6" screen available!
