So I had a spare qi charger and thought how can I make this a dock without spending money and using things I already had.

Solution was to cut a circle in a Walmart drink mix box and angle the bottom. For now I just taped it in place, but caulk job would probably be more ideal to hold it in place. It's sturdy and only cost like $5 to $7 for the qi charger from china. Under it is a cheap stand that had a lip to keep the phone in place I stuck the box to with double sided tape.

I could fancy it up with paint etc but it was just for fun and it worked.

Thanks. I might spray paint it & then caulk the circle in place if I get time later. Good for a spare unit at my desk. Not as good as my real qi dock I use by my bed, but functional.

I'm currently settling in from a move to a new house and short on time, but it works. Could of made a better one when more time but it's a spare. Glued and painted.
