Material Covering the 6p Camera Lens?

I have not seen this mentioned anywhere. I've already ordered my 6p so it's not like this is a make or break question, but do we know what material was used to cover the rear camera lens of the 6p?

The black bar on the back of the 6p is supposedly plastc because of the radio antennas and sensors being located there, does that mean the lens is being covered by that same plastic? I'm coming from an HTC one M8 which also has a plastic lens cover and if you know anything about the issues experienced with this camera then you would know why to me this is a bit concerning if so.

The black bar is not covered by plastic but with gorilla glass 4. Same for the front and rear camera ;-).

It has been told by google's engineers on Reddit.
