Looking to dump my iPhone for a nexus 6P. I have about 400 or so photos on apple photos. Any idea how I can import these to my google library (keeping full quality)

    Thanks

Hi, will you be using Google Photos to back up your pictures? I had a couple of thousand pictures on my PC that I wanted backed up to Google Photos. I used Google Drive to upload them.

I could be wrong but can't you just install Google photos on your iPhone and let them sync? Idk about the full quality though, you may have to pay for those...

I found this: https://photos.google.com/apps. I know there's a Google Photos app but I don't know how it works and if it syncs directly with the photos in iCloud.

Might have to download to a computer and then upload them to Google.

The Google Photos desktop app will do this! Search "Google Photos desktop app Mac" on Google and you'll find it. It allows you to import photos onto Google Photos straight from iPhoto or specific photos on your computer. Works pretty fast.
