Hide albums in Photos app?

Hello all,

I have just received my 6P 64GB. I upgraded from an HTC One M9.
I would like to hide certain albums in the Photos app, which was incredibly simple on the HTC.

Is there a way to do this on my 6P?

You can't hide photos with the stock Google photos app. I just installed QuickPic Gallery (https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...?id=com.alensw.PicFolder&hl=en&token=xSwnBgBX) and it's great. You can highlight entire folders or single pictures and Exclude them from the app. I had a bunch of Album covers that were showing up from my Music folder that I didn't want to see in my gallery, I selecting the root Music folder, selected Exclude and it cleaned it right up.

BTW, if you are trying to hide photos from all galleries, you can add a . in front of the picture name or folder they are in (ex: .hiddenfolder). Once you add that period, it will not show up anywhere unless you use a file browser program to access it.
