The Nexus 6P is my first large phone and I find using it with one hand nearly impossible. I am very surprised that Google didn't incorporate something like the Note 4 did in this video, it seems like a no brainer.

Are there any settings/gestures I'm not aware of that enable something like that, or 3rd party apps?

    Thanks

No gestures or settings to change. Not sure if any apps are aval for this. Seems like something that would be aval after root, and a custom ROM.

The only 'one hand' app would be one thump keyboard input with SwiftKey's Flow. You can resize the keyboard and have it right (or left) justified. I've been using it since I got the Nexus 6 last year and it works well.
