This sounds silly I know but is there anyway of overriding the Android Emoijs.... I hate these😫 So miss the Samsung & IOS styles.

If you use a third party app like Textra, you can select they type of emoji you want to see.

There's an iOS emoji plug in for Textra. I use it.

On Textra it is feasible I know because I use it but all other functions like leaving this forum reply and emails it doesn't work. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but I have yet to find a solution. 😕Thank you for input 😊

I'm with you! They look like yellow thumb faces. So ugly. 🙄

It just never bothered me enough to notice. Yes, the emojis need a facelift but, IMHO, they aren't that bad.

I agree, I don't like the Google emojis design.

If you root your phone you can change this.

You can always spruce it up and change it. From third party Keyboards to third party Messaging app. Like other have said Textra which I use has the ability to change Emoijs and I do not doubt other third party keyboards do.
