Gmail/Inbox Notifications Issue?

Anyone else having any problems with not receiving notifications for emails through either gmail or inbox? Or if this is a problem that has been solved, how to do I go about fixing it?

I'm on Stock and up to date with security patches in case it matters lol.

To the best of my knowledge & experience, the Gmail/Inbox notification issue has been resolved. Like many others who use Gmail, I had the problem, but have been getting all my new mail notifications. It was a Google internal issue, not a device specific one.
