Toyota enTune and the May update - The phone book is being loaded please try again later

After the May update my 6P refused to dial a number via voice commands on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. It kept saying "The phone book is being loaded please try again later". An hour later it would still say the same error message. I manually synced the contacts in 4-6 seconds and again it would claim the phone book is being loaded.....

I rebooted the phone, tried different settings in the car and nothing worked. The phone was connected to the car, you could manually dial a number from the phone and the voice would come out the car speakers. I finally found the fix, I had to unpair the phone from the Toyota setup menu and pair it up again and everything started working again.
