Only display contacts with phone numbers?

How do you display only contacts with phone numbers. I imported my contacts with no problem, but unlike with previous phones - where I could choose to display only contacts with phone numbers - I see no option for that in the contacts manager in Marshmellow.

Any help would be appreciated!

So if I go into the contacts "app", I can create a custom group (which I did on contacts.google.com) and see it and ONLY display it... but when I use the phone icon on the home screen, it shows ALL contacts.

This is probably the most basic functionality a person wants - a list of contacts that actually have phone numbers - so why is it so hard to produce?!

I gave up on this a long time ago. Agree totally, google contacts sucks. It pulls crap from all over the place and flood your address book with useless contacts. An option to only display contacts with phone numbers would be great.

Well, technically the problem is that the Dialer app doesn't allow you to see the custom groups that you set up in the Contacts app. You CAN create a custom group in the Contacts app that only shows people with phone numbers, and you can have that be the default view in the Contacts app - the Dialer app just doesn't show that filter.

But I'll agree that it should be easier to filter contacts with phone numbers, and the Dialer should replicate that functionality.

Perhaps a 3rd party Dialer? I'm sure there are some in the Google Play Store.
