I've recently noticed that there is no way to select your WiFi connection Speed on your Nexus 6.
I've tried two builds of Android 7 and both are the same (NBD90Z or NBD91P) you do not have the ability to select your preferred WiFi Connection Speed.
I know this was possible in the past because I have done it in the past.
Perhaps someone out there knows which build of Android introduced the castrated functionality and I can roll back to that version OR perhaps there is a way to restore the menu selection of Network Speed for WiFi.

Wifi speed is dependent on the router, not the phone. I don't know what function you're changing, but the phone will connect to the router at its maximum connections peed, and receive data as fast as it gets to the router. You can't speed that up in any way, and I don't know why you'd want to slow it down. (The Network Speed is whatever the router is capable of - normally in the range of 180mbps to 300mbps. Which is not the download speed you get, it's the speed between the phone and the router. The speed between the router and some server could be as slow as dial-up - and that will be your download speed - dial-up.)

RDZee, are you referring to band choice? If so, that went out with 7.0. Google deemed that choice unnecessary as it's done automatically.
