ringtone volume keeps reverting to silent

help me cuz this is driving me nuts!! My Nokia 6.1 on latest pie with magisk 19.5 ,, the ringtone , he keeps reverting to off. The prob usually occurs when earphones are plugged in. I have viper4android intsalled, please,,, HELP!!!

Sorry about the lack of response -- there probably aren't that many people here who have rooted that phone and are using it with that custom ROM. Just in case there is, though, and they run into the same problem, care to let us know how you solved it?

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get Magisk 19.5? Even the beta is only up to 19.4. (And do you know what the changes were from 19.4 to 19.5?)

Or was that a typo?
