Its a nokia 7 plus with android one (stock android)
Hi, welcome to AC!
Have you checked in settings under security or try type in setting search bar sd card encryption?
Checked everywhere .....nothing
Also if i password protect the sd card on another phone .... i dont get a password prompt
Might be a corrupt sd card
No its not corrupt..... the sd card is visible if its not password protected and the files accessible
But you put a password and in other phone it doesn't ask for it ?
[Moved this to Nokia 7plus forum for specific traffic]
The sd card functions fine .... but there is no encrypt sd or password protect in the menu
Let me see if I can find information for you
thanks for the help and quick response sofar

Android One isn't stock Android, it's stock (or modified) Android One, a cut-down version of Android for phones with lower specs. (I don't know why Nokia chose One for the phone, full Android will run fine on a Snapdragon 660 with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.) One doesn't encrypt the SD card. (And no, you can't just flash stock Android to the phone - you'd need a Nokia 7 Plus version of stock Android - and that would be supplied by Nokia.)
You're not thinking of Android Go, are you? As far as I know, Android One is basically stock Android.
You are correct - I was thinking of Go. One is nearly stock.
