Walking on the street, my phone suddenly started beeping very loudly, in my pocket. It prompted my to enter my pin code, with a countdown of 30 seconds. Which I did (switching off the phone did not help).
This happened only once. Everything works fine. But it seems to me like some kind of attack. I see no new apps, ran several security apps, but nothing unusual.
The only things I noticed, but I am not sure about them:
- seems that after the event my bluetooth and mobile data was switched on (I am on holiday, and almost sure they were switched off)
- after a restart, my clock widget on the home screen shows a temp 'loading' message before showing the time (never noticed that before).
Does anybody recognize this? Please advice.
I use a rather new Nokia 8 with Android 8.1.0.
