Nokia 8 and update Android P

When do i receive the update of the brand Android P.
I heard the the Nokia 7 will get the first. I believe the Nokia 8 is stronger for that and not the 7. Nokia 8 said we are also the first with updates and now we see Nokia 7 is quicker. Nokia 8 is also more price for this.

That's entirely up to Nokia. If they find a problem in what they did to make it work on the 8, that gets delayed until they get it fixed. If there's no problem in what they did to make it work n the 7, that gets released sooner. (They don't just get the update from Google and release it, they have to rewrite the hardware interface to make it work on the specific model - and one bug can take weeks to find.)

Got the official (non-beta) Android 9 update on my Nokia 8 the other day.
