Nokia 8 Sirocco dropping calls after Android Pie Update

So I got the Android Pie update in Dubai a few days ago. then I did a factory reset as I like to have a fresh clean start with a new OS. Setup everything but now I noticed on 2 different occasions when I am in the middle of a phone call, I would stop hearing anything nor does the other part hear me. I'd then have to call them again and the call is back to normal for a couple of minutes then gets muted automatically. A restart fixes this sometimes but it's very annoying. Anyone else getting this?

So I went to the store where I bought my phone from and explained the problem. Then I called the technician on his cell phone and we had like a 6 min conversation and the mic worked perfectly fine. I also called a few other land line numbers and the mic was working fine. I dunno what to make of this, maybe it was like a network connection problem where I live. Weird.
