Android Central Question

Android 9 on a Nokia 9. How do I change the lockscreen photo? On my Samsung J5 I had a different photo for lockscreen and wallpaper, but the option doesn't seem to be there on the Nokia.

You do it from Settings, Display, Wallpaper. Select your image and tap on "set wallpaper". You then have the option to set that image for the Home screen, Lock screen, or both.

Sorry, I posted the original question, didn't realise I wasn't logged in.

I have tried the above, but there doesn't seem to be an option to have a different picture for the lockscreen and the home screen. Only the option for the same one.

Looks like a bug since in settings it shows me I have a different wallpaper for home screen and lock screen but in reality it just uses the wallpaper selected for home screen for both.

Just wondering if anyone has managed to have a different picture for the home screen and lockscreen yet. I tried again today, but if I change one it still changes both.

I don't think you can have different pics. I have AOD turned on so I don't see the locksreen pic anyway. I'm assuming AOD is why?

I tried this again since the latest update. I have successfully set up a different picture for the home screen and the lock screen with AOD (Glance) enabled.

Thanks Neilk, I will give it another go. The update has been great, it cured my camera error issues.

Yay😁!! Although it works best using settings, if I try to use the menu in the photos app, then it doesn't let you adjust the photo.
