Long load time and failed updates

Not sure what is going on, software update seem to get stuck after downloading and not install. Same is true for new software. Gets stuck at downloading or installing.
It also take forever to load some apps.
Tried unplug to restart and that did not work.

What's your storage status? Is your internal storage almost full? Are you using external storage as a adoptable storage? Perhaps there's something going on with that.

I have the card drive version. no external memory. plenty of room
