This video does an awesome job explaining what else you can do with SHIELD. Remember, it's not just a gaming machine. Something I learned, you can use the joysticks for navigation and a mouse cursor.

Already pre ordered this and I can't wait to play shadow gun and dead trigger 2.

I look forward for the Shield review. I will ask my friend at US to buy and sent to me. On video above, seems shield really responsive, and quick load the apps. hope it good as it advertise. I have mogA pro controller, playing dead trigger , modern combat 4 and shadowgun really have different experience compared using virtual gamepad. The bad side of mogA pro, you need to run the game mostly using pivot app, some can do without it such shadowgun THD (my device nexus 7). But supported game (mode A) need to run using pivot or else pivot app wil exit back to your device screen and mogA Pro controller losing BT connection. To reconnect after this eror, you need to force close pivot app, and do all over again like first time connect mogA Pro. really annoying, IMO. so I think Shield with built in gamepad should not have problem (I hope). And one more thing, vibration (force feedback) not available on mogA Pro. it is crucial part that was missing on mobile gaming. hope it will available at future time. I don't know about shield, it has vibration hardware or not, if so, then just need software to activate it.

I'm pretty sure with SHIELD I can get the Avengers to help me deal with my enemies.

I'd like to see more about connecting it to a large monitor and standard input devices for web browsing and Netflix, remote desktop, etc... Nice that you have multiple users so people can play around without messing up someone's settings.

It does have HDMI out for that, so it's not just wireless streaming. But if you have the stuff, it also supports Miracast.

Not sure about USB OTG. Even if you can't use a mouse, you do have the joysticks for a mouse pointer.

Yes, it has USB OTG. And you can use a bluetooth mouse (I haven't tried a bluetooth keyboard, cause I don't have one). You can also connect a USB controller and play games on SHIELD using your controller instead of the controller. ;) Tell me that doesn't hurt the brain? Honestly, I haven't tried that one lately.

Isn't there a game that allows mulitplayer if you attach another controller? I mean shield is just a controller with the "console" portion stored inside. So hook it up to a TV and have multiplayers on a game makes sense.

Anyway, the thing is a good websurfer when attached to a monitor, because it's webpage loading speed is quite good. I hook up a USB OTG keyboard/mouse to a TV with HDMI out and can surf with similar speed to a laptop. However, it's still only 720p, wish they would support 1080p. It does play 4k video rather nicely and on a 1080p display the image will be rendered at 1080p, but can look sharper than a Blu-Ray.
