I think so definitely, had the s6 was great phone just extremely poor battery life and the glass back slippery.
Also i find the op3 just is so much smother in how everything works plus camera is fantastic.
I love Samsung galaxy but one gets tired of all the crap that comes with it plus at a price op3 goes for in my opinion is worth it.
    Both great phones.

I had a s7 edge and this is definitely better overall than that. The s7 edge shines in regard to camera for me but overall the OP3 is better in my eyes.

Add me to that too I had S7 edge and besides camera this wins and maybe screen slightly. But battery, build, speed, and OS this wins big time.

I also feel the same. The S7 felt fragile and got a bit laggy when not cycled on/off on a regular basis. This seems to just be fast and smooth all the time.

I swapped my S6 edge for my OP3. Couldn't be happier, there's no way I'd go back!

The OP3 camera is very good - easily competes with the S6 edge (fun fact - both are using 16MP Sony sensors - although some S6e's came with a Samsung one, but mine was the Sony.)

Battery life - night and day difference. I got serious buyer's remorse from the S6 edge battery.

Software - bye bloat feels more like my phone the way I want it!

Performance - again, night and day. Super smooth phone. Also - and I'd include this in "Performance" - the fingerprint sensor is so quick.

Those were the key points for me. Looking back on my purchase, easily the happiest phone purchase I've ever made. My S6 edge was £750, my OP3 was £309. I'm still in shock. It's definitely built like a high end flagship and feels it.
    CTalman and Phonejock like this.

I'm happy to read all these replies, since I'm switching from an S5 to the OnePlus 3 (as soon as it arrives). I'm not with AT&T, but it's an AT&T branded phone, and came with TONS of bloatware I never use and can't get rid of. A waste of space! Can't wait for my new phone! I'm 71 years old and love gadgets!
