quick bit of advice needed please guys and gals.

previous blackberry phone turned into a paper wheight after a corrupt update so i will never update without advice first.
my phone is used during the day for work in hospital and emergency blue light calls so i cant risk another mess up.

just had a popup for update to:

OS Version OnePlus3TOxygen_28_170114 920mb

worth it yes or no.

at the moment system info is OneplusA3003
OS Oxygen 3.5.4
android 6.0.1

I just got my phone this week, and this update was waiting to be installed, so I have been using this from the get go, haven't had any problems with it, so I would just download and have fun

It'll update you to Nougat, so I'd say it's worth it.

It checks the file integrity before installing, so as long as you have a full battery, its unlikely to go wrong. And in the unlikely event it does, it isn't too difficult to fix as long as you have access to a computer.

Go for it, It is the latest and most stable Nougat, OxygenOS 4.0.2, release that is being rolled out worldwide.

I did mine yesterday. No issues.

Couple of new things to learn. Makes the phone super fast imo.

updated last night and all went well so thanks for feedback above.
only thing it wiped was the dark wallpaper that isnt an option on the phone now so just got one from Zedge.
