Ceramic body, 4000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 835, 8 GB RAM, QHD display, dual rear cameras, launch in April.

I have to say I don't believe this at all.

We've heard that two huge OEMs are launching without the 835 because of lack of supply, there's no source for the article and it reads like they're announcing a date and then putting together a wish list of features. Is OnePlus going to launch a phone that's $690-900?

It's Chinese, the number 4 is considered unlucky there, lots of companies choose to skip it.

But I agree with you it doesn't really seem legitimate beyond that. We'll see.

Lol. I've also read that has been debunked, so who knows!

But if true, I can hear the whiners already cranking up to chastise OP for releasing a new model so soon after the 3T came out.

But I have to say, regardless of SoC availability, those specs sound about right for what I expect the 2017 OP phone to have.

This new device could finally bring me back to OnePlus. I'm very tempted to get a 3T and root/mod the eff out of it. But with rumors of the next model starting to drop I may just wait a bit. Since it's all just rumor at this point my wish list is...

4000+mah battery plz
AMOLED screen plz
1080p is fine for me (but I'll take QHD if the battery is big enough)
I'd love SD card support too btw
*Some* water resistance
