Phone cant remember my Bluetooth device

Op 5t (os 9.0.11) and my headphones are jbl live650 btnc.
I had them for a while and everytime i turned on my headphones and bluetooth it would connect automatically.
Now for some reason (haven't updated anything) whenever i turn bluetooth and the headphones it asks me permission to pair and to allow contacts sharing.
Also for some reason trying to connect it from my "previously connected devices" ends up failing and deleting it.
I tried resetting the bluetooth connection and to start it in safe mode but it still asks me for permission.
Any idea? Thanks in advance

Is there an "Always allow" checkbox that you're not checking when you tell it to connect?

When the headphones are off and not connected, do they still show up in your remembered Bluetooth devices list in the phone's system settings?

there isnt,only a "share contacts" which i tried off and on

they do show up,but powering it up and trying to connect will fail and delete the headphones from my history of devices
