So with the recent confirmation that the OP2 isn't going to be getting Nougat does that sway the decision of any of you to now avoid OnePlus like the plague or will you give them the benefit of the doubt and buy the OnePlus 5 hoping beyond hope that it will receive Android P next year?

I'm one of those rare people that don't necessarily mind if they don't get the latest and greatest software updates. Phones can very often run just fine on an earlier version of Android. But yeah, sometimes important security features get added and so you don't want to be out of that loop. I thought I'd heard somewhere that the 3T is still getting support, though?

Most phones don't get 2 years of updates, and the OP2 is on it's second birthday. Don't get me wrong, I am not defending this practice, but part of the blame does lie with the chip OEM.

The 5.....well, I could take it or leave it. The thing for me is, I am not a fan of screen sizes in the 5.5" range.
