I didn't expect this! I read and text mostly. Still pretty good!//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170627/99009f3cf57959ac367dbe4dd158e391.jpg
Well I do have low brightness. I usually set my brightness to 25% but OP5 was bright enough for me at 15%. Also, I did turn off the scanning always available off. Not sure it helped lol. I really don't watch videos or play games so that may be the reason why. My screen inactivity is set to 5 mins. What is your secret? My battery life was average at best. I would lose 2-3% per hour overnight. Since the last update on Sunday it has been better
Just got another software update now let's see how it goes.
Hey Krazy, I see you over at Crackberry and the KeyOne battery life is insane, how does the OP 5 compare?BTW, I am using Nova launcher if that makes any difference?
I probably need more time to compare vs keyone but OnePlus battery life is very good. I doubt it will be better than Snapdragon 625 but so far it's fairly close for my usage. I mostly text, reading forum app, so it will really vary by the users. I think I can go 9hrs SOT with OnePlus 5. My S7 gives me like 5-6 hours SOT. Keyone probably gave me like 10 SOT. I don't have keyone anymore though.Hey Krazy, I see you over at Crackberry and the KeyOne battery life is insane, how does the OP 5 compare?
Can you take a screen shot of your usage? I didn't use my phone a lot today so I don't have any info yet. What is battery life like when idle/on standby?
My S8 will drain at a steady 2% per hour even when sat on my desk doing nothing, whereas my iPhone 7+ would sit for ages on 100% if I left it, likewise the LG G6 is also pretty good in this regard.
How is the OP5? Does the vanilla android bear some fruit in this area?
Getting great battery out of mine. Best I've ever had.
Nice. What's your screen on time? I don't use Wifi at work. Can you check your power consumption for wifi?
Nice. OP5 battery is just superb IMO. I really like 1080p for battery saving.Best screen on time I've ever had on any device, and my WiFi has been on constantly and is responsible for 4% of my battery usage, or a mere 118 mAh of computed use.
Hope it's useful!
