It depends. Not all OP5s have a jelly scroll that's very noticeable.

digitalbreak's unit is likely one of the better ones.

I am not seeing any kind of such compression at the top. In fact this scrolling is same as I get in my U11 and S8.
I don't know how, but I could see it.

It's almost like my Moto Z when inverted, although in both cases, they aren't that obvious.

Can you also take a video and show us? That way maybe it will help us understand how it looks in your device.

    Check it out here.

It's actually pretty subtle in this case. It isn't immediately obvious until you're actually looking at it.

It's more noticeable in this case because I slowed the playback down by 1/2.

Nah, in my case, it's really hard to see.

Like I said, it depends on the unit. Some are blatantly obvious while others are more subtle.

Here are two videos, one in Twitter app and the other in Reddit app. Please tell me if I am missing something. The scrolling seems fine and I don't see any jelly effect here.

    Reddit app: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1Q...NSQlJzSjVkWE5B
I just looked at the two videos too and I couldn't see anything. Then again, if little glitches like this happen, I either don't really care or I just get used to it and continue on. 😜

Yeah, I don't expect people to get it immediately. It's really subtle in my case and pk's.

Chances are, your OP5s are one of the better ones.

Perhaps if I watched way more times than I had I'd be able to see something. It's too bad that this is happening, because OP is awesome and this glitch could definitely make or break someone's OP5 experience.

I wouldn't call it a glitch. It's a side-effect caused by the reversal of the display and how it refreshes.

It depends on the person, honestly. Some like it while others will be annoyed.

So this "Jelly Effect" is a great big conspiracy right? Did anyone notice the website I was scrolling? THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!

The fact that it only appears to few devices when you perform hard/slow/accelerate/deaccelerate scroll in a certain way - Yes, I feel this is a conspiracy

I mean, if folks are asking or beating OnePlus for giving us a decent and not the best camera, I get it. I will too. But this "jelly" effect thing seems like a few wanted to pick a fight. And OnePlus marketing team should also be fired for handling it in the worst possible way one can!

I didn't notice anything when these stories first broke, but I am seeing it in the last few days. Seems to be more noticeable depending on what is on the screen. Brighter apps or images make it more prominent.

I smell another Streisand effect! I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I saw it, but now I will be looking for it. If I ever see one in real life, that is...

Does the effect remain or is it only noticed while scrolling and the screen display is fine when scrolling action ends?
